This morning I went out and played 18 holes of golf at the Santa Rosa Country Club, of which I belong, knowing that I would have to come back and work the rest of the day getting things completed for the coming week. Belong is the conversation I was having with myself as I was playing golf.
As I have not played for over a month, I decided not to be too hard on myself and just have fun. (HMMM... sounds like something I would say to one of my clients.)
So I had breakfast first and chatted with the waitresses about the approaching holidays and what their plans were. (HMMMM.... sounds again like a conversation I would have with one of my clients.)
I then got in my cart and teed off on the first hole which was a par 5 with a very long drive. (HMMM... must be the workout I'm doing at 123 Fit)
The second and third hits were straight and long with the fourth shot getting me on the backside of the green sloping down to the hole. (Hey, I'm doing pretty good considering I haven't played for a month!)
Then I putted and it was all "down-hill" from there!
My golf game sounds just like a typical day at your computer. But the reason it happens is not because we forget things... it's because we don't practice. Computers are no different than golf.
Practice does make the game easier and more fun!
